    I think for taxes you can depreciate mining equipment. Or you can schedule C the amount you want for the year.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong but Binance doesn't report anything to IRS. They don't send any form to them or you. Coionbase does.

    technically since there are no crypto laws, regulations, or definitions in the US yet it is illegal for IRS to collect tax from anything crypto related. especially mining/staking rewards. also I think the treasury and fbi called crypto "currency" which would also mean no tax as gold is "currency" and you dont pay tax on gold. tempted to not report my crypto at all to these communist thieves. even if they passed laws this year we would only have to pay 2023 and beyond starting in 2024 tax season…

    Mining under a business name (in Australia it's a ABN), you can claim some tax back if you treat all your GPUs as business expenses.
