Thank you for your videos, they are helpful!! I purchased a domain name through Wix 6 months ago but hasn't been published yet as i am working on the website. I am looking to purchase a new domain name via Dynadot and go with that one instead. Do you know if I can transfer that over or do I need to purchase again through Wix? I'm NOT tech savvy at all…. any suggestions are super appreciated !

I'm here because of your video "Users, beware.. avoid WordPress!*". Thank you very much. I discover Wix. I want to create a graphic design portfolio for free. But since I wanted to go with WordPress, I learned that I needed to buy a host and so I was ready to buy a hostinger or dreamhost subscription. But I think Wix is enough for me to begin with. It seem so customizable. I love that !

Why nobody tells about how complicated is to add or change customized fonds, size and colors on words and paragraphs on Squarespace? While on Wix it takes you only one or two clicks to do so.

I don't see any reviews by you for Weebly. How would you compare Weebly to Squarespace? Also does Squarespace have a email marketing component like weebly promote?

I am from the UK . Thank you for a great information. I am setting up a wix website. I have a domain name from another host. However the host is not on wix host list. Wix will not allow me to add this domain. I have to be honest, wix is a nightmare to contact for advice. there no phone number or email contact on the web site. There is only answer and question page. Please can you help me . If i cannot add my domain to wix there I will have to cancel my account.

Having a hard time choosing between wix, squareface, and WordPress. I’m running a mobile auto detailing business. I am looking for something that looks professional with ease. That grabs the attention of potential clients. I was viewing some comparison videos but some seem bias( wix). What’s your opinion on choosing a website that deals with my line of work?( possible video uploads, appointments, lots of before-after picture uploads, customer testimonials, mobile friendly, etc)

When I viewed source on a Wix site, it was a mess of unneeded React code (for whatbwas just a static page). Squaresapce has much cleaner code: too many nested Divs, yes, but they all have ids thato which you can attach custom css or even javascript from the builder. I wouldn't know where to start to customize a wix element, it's all pages and pages of javascript.

Does either have a max of pages? I am searching for a page to hold info about separate divisions and potentially another layer of pages within the divisions?

Professional review of somewhat two diametrically opposing web builder models devoid of bias, unlike a plethora of misleading YouTubers who end up conducting a comparative evaluation verging on bias and nepotism.

hey dude, great video and really timely as I just signed on to squarespace for my site. Much of the concerns you mentioned are valid, and having tried both the free versions of wix and squarespace for some time, I can attest that the overall UX is better on squarespace. As someone who likes to tweak, sometimes I have noticed that I can easily knock certain elements out of alignment, making it look bad on mobile. On squarespace, the structure is tight, so no matter what you modify, it will always frame up nicely on mobile. My first concern is always to make sure a site looks good on mobile first, and with squarespace you can rest easily that your content will look good and professional. Just subbed so I don't miss out on more content, sorry I thought I was already subbed. But I am now, with the bell hit for alerts. Thanks for checking out my site as well. cheers!!
