Someone mentioned "Windows movie maker"… What the heck happened to it? It came free with the windows. Worked great, now it just disappeared. I tried to get it is from the Windows rip off store, but they all look like 3rd rate programs, that don't work, and ask you for money, but don't work. Has Billy Gates gotten lazy, or just too greedy to have decent software anymore? Does anyone even work at Microsoft, or are they too bust counting their share money?
Is there a decent and simple to use video editing software out there that doesn't try to charge us AFTER we buy it? What's with this 1 year for $XX or X$ for a lifetime? Can't we just buy it and be done with paying and paying? Too much to ask…

Looks like great product and would love to get it ….. but for someone who edits trip videos for personal use the price is way too much. I was fine with Windows Movie Maker until I had to update my PC and WMM its no longer supported. The search continues. Suggestions welcomed.

$250 for a complete beginner makes ZERO sense. But what this really is is a paid Camtasia ad.
