Selling My First NFT! Full Behind The Scenes Process. Crypto Art Blockchain Ethereum

Behind the scenes of my first NFT. Auction is almost over:

Crypto Art is something that is very interesting to me for a number of reasons. I wasn’t early into Blockchain, but went heavy on Ethereum in 2017. For this auction we use Foundation.app but platforms like OpenSea and others can for sure be used.

Hello Tylor, thanks for the video,
can you explain to me if at the end of the auction you are not happy with the price,
can you withdraw the work? or what if it is not sold?
Can I recover my work or try to keep selling it Cheers

So I guess it works better if you have some sort of community as a creator. Thanks so much for this video man. I would like to create an NFT on my own and this is a really good tutorial.

Great job Taylor! I have been trying to get into the Foundation app but with no luck. It's a great platform and I'm glad you found an invite fast. I think the hardest part is not selling the NFT on the app but getting an invite to sell on the app. Maybe one day I can share my work with all of you. My user name is /javiermedina If anyone is interested in helping a fellow artist with an invite. 🤗 Cheers!

Did you read about environmental impact of NFT? And you are producing and selling it? Really dissapointed, man. I'm not some crazy greenpeace dude, but we have only one Earth…

So they charge you to mint it, but you can't list it yet. So they charge more to list it. And then take a cut of the final sale?

Question: if you tell everyone you know do they have to tell 5 of their friends? hehe

Man, $100 for mint and list, then a 15% fee on the sale, just to sell token with a piece of artwork attached that produced more than 200kg worth of carbon to make. I can kind of understand the financial draw of crypto, but I'll never understand handwaving away the environmental impact.

I hate that most artists are now hopping on the NFT bandwagon :/ just another byproduct of the capitalistic society we live in + the sheer environmental impact NFTs have is not talked about enough

Love that someone is talking about this! I’m big into crypto and photography/videography. Please update us on if it sales and if it’s worth it. Gas fees can be a barrier for entry. Keep it up!

Thanks for sharing! I'm unsure how to feel about NFT though, reading about the environmental impact from generating them. And honestly no hate for creating one, but just keen to hear your thoughts on it.

I am curios to see how it works out and the customer side of the equation. Will someone comment that I purchased it.
