Hi Son of a Tech! what PSU are you powering up your Rig ? Do you think with a 750 or 850W can handle 2 GPU 3080 Ti LHR ? to add into equation, the CPU will be a low intel celeron tdp 30w and mobo at most 50w. One module of ram and a pendrive and two Risers. For sure I will run the rig with HiveOS. Thanks

I appreciated this video a lot after my LHR 3060 randomly started hashing right at 50 mh. Even after a couple reboots. Then on the next reboot it was back to semi-unlocked.

Hi, I have a galaxy rtx3080ti with some weird question. I set the core clock and lock on 1400mhz and set mem on 3000mhz on hiveos. But so weird that the nbminer shows the core clock of this RTX3080ti is only 975mhz and hash rate only 81mh. Does anyone have the same problem?

Planning to solar up my two rigs soon. It's expensive but my house can run on the same system and takes way less power than my mining rigs.

Having a hard time with my 3080ti FE. Load average goes up, pulls all my other cards hash rate down, and it doesn't even mine itself. Just sits there. Have changed everything, reflashed hive, etc
    At a loss.

hey great video, can i ask if any of your gpu have been damaged for using high memory overclock over a long period of time? i have a rtx 3080 that can go up to +1600 mem oc on windows, but im afraid i may damage it by running it at that high memory overclock 24/7

I've had some killer luck lately with HiveOS newest update and T-REX Miner's newest V0.25.4 (I think). I get about 89.5 MH/s after about 1-hr of run time or so. It might be better to start just using all LHR cards on a divided mining rig though and mine FIRO or FLUX and ETH with NON-LHR.

Well my EVGA 3090 xc3 ultra do 105mh at 270 watts ( +100 core, +100 mem, PL 77%, fan speed at 90% ) Core temp at 52c, mem temp at 94- 98c. I change the termalPad , i drop 10c, but cooler design of this gpu is the worst of all cooler from the 3090.

I was mining on HiveOS for about a month, noticed a considerable share decrease from mining on windows. Installed windows again, share/min back to expected. HiveOS seems a bit fishy. Also they limit you on using miner API… Not a very good experience overall. I really wanted to use it, but when it appears that they steal some of my submitted shares…that's when the love ends.

It is my graphic card model RTX3080 TI
I want to connect it to the power supply
The model of power supply is GREAT WALL 1650
This power supply has both PCIE and Sata port.
I connected directly the PCIE to the graphic card .
My question is which cable to use to connect the riser to power supply : Directly to power supply by this cable 8-pin PCIE (6 + 2) or directly by SATA cable from power supply ?

Thanks for the section on memory overclock. Before upgrading, my 3080s were stable at 2800, now can't seem to push past 2400 without intermittent hangs, but still getting that extra 3% from the NB unlock.

86.1 MHs At 240w using lolMiner on Hive. Core: 1150, Mem: 2900, no power setting, fan at 90%
3-5 more MHs isn’t worth the extra wattage imo.
Stable for a couple months now! (EVGA 3080 Ti FTW)

My 3080ti doesn’t like anything above 42 MH regardless of miner, clock etc. I do get 51 mh on Phoenix miner for some reason but it just won’t get “unlocked” on any of the other ones.
