A new anti virus strategy. Make the computer so slow that viruses can't run.

I expected it to be bad, but this is way worse then that. I believe I've been aware of the need to avoid their software for over 20 years now, without checking any dates.. and I'm "happy" to see things haven't changed.

Anybody considered Norton declares a hashrate lower than the actual rate just to add a bit to the mere 15 percent of fees.

It's not like I was in any danger of using Norton for anything, but it's good to know what kind of company that is just in case I have gullible relatives. Thank you for submitting yourself to the unsavory act of installing that on your machine so that I wouldn't have to.

Maybe that's why Norton is detecting miners as virus/trojan and deleting them

Typical Norton. I am pretty sure they design and release malware to keep demand for their glorified malware they try to pass off as antivirus up.

God damn. When you said on WAN Show to "imagine how bad it is in your mind. I promise you it is worse", I was all like, "how bad can it be". But yes. I fully agree, it is much much worse than I ever imagined 🤣😂
