Hello, I'm new to Biticon trade and l've been making huge losses but recently i see a lot of
people earning from it. Please can someone tell me what to do?
My buddy build a hydro electric dam and a warehouse full of asic lol
There isn't any environmental impact from crypto pretty much…. the vast majority of crypto mining farms I know are self sustainable energy sources… lmao
Pollution mining is one of the few investment more evil than child labor.
I respect this, but the big thing with crypto is the greed of humans, its like the grocery cart check. No ones doing whats right, and now we're one step closer to heat-death earth.
People who complain about the "environmental impact of cryptocurrency" generally believe in mythical statistic-pushing from government-media pundits who are terrified of the idea of a non-USD currency being used in the United States.
Are you practicing to go into politics? That was a 9 min+ video without ever once actually saying what the problem was. If you did in the actual stream, then that's just bad editing instead of ridiculous circle talk. If you were wrong and now realize it, fess up. If you WEREN'T wrong and stand by this company's partnership, say that and tell the whiners to pound sand. Giving in to the screeching minority insisting if they don't like it, it can't exist, is one of the biggest reasons society is such the pile of shit it is today.
I'm at the point where I want a gaming/streaming rig but my parents don't want to get me one, but buying a mining dedicated rig is the only thing that might work, but I'm feeling bad for the people who can't do exactly what I'm doing
Yawn what's that Linus? I can't hear you over my 750ish Amperes non-lhr making me rich AF!
here is what i think if you have a rtx 3090 you either choose to acknowledge yourself as a miner or a moron. if you can make money out of it when not using it and you don’t then your a moron period. gamers & miners is kinda like the same as prostitutes & escorts. don’t be a baby and quit whining about gamers&miners. try making some real money for once so you can prepare for the newer upcoming gpu launch. if you don’t your gonna be whining again next launch..🤣
I see why crypto hardware and shade is okay to bring to light
Linus is right about the environmental stuff when it comes to crypto. It was never meant to be used like it is today with massive plots of land dedicated to mining crypto. Aka individuals mining wouldn't really be an environmental problem.
It is estimated that over 60,000 to 400,000 people have made a massive one million dollars in bitcoin pending on the type of broker involved for every investment to yield earning a professional broker should be involved. Mrs katie wallace is a professional broker who manages, handles and gives guidance on investments to get good profit.
Bitcoin is a store of value. Buying more now.
I was unaware of nicehash before ltt video. I'm grateful for bringing to my notice, I've recovered 60% of my gpu cost since your video.
I'm 100% sure that most people who say "stocking up toilet paper/gpus is bad" would change their mind if they get the opportunity… Everyone is a saint like it seems, until the briefcase with banknotes is big enough… It's just human behaviour 😀
Nvidia is taking steps to fix the issue…👊👍😎
Every cryptocurrency that is based on block chain is a pyramid scheme.
Address the fact that NiceHash's CEO is a WANTED CRIMINAL. Address that he made backdoors to steal wallet codes. To steal Identities, and BANKING INFORMATION. You mentioned "a little hacking scandal that they compensated peo-" that is worthless, you ignored the fact he is a god damn wanted criminal who ruined people's lives. He never even compensated people so you are outright lying.
Disgusting. There was no punishment for what he did and it STOLE IDENTITIES. You hung your fans to the wolves. Disgusting.
Nicehash got hacked. Unlike every other hacked site, they gave every penny back.
IF you think you need to attack a company full of stand up people over one person's background, it makes YOU look lesser.
You can text her on WhatsApp, here’s her WhatsApp number
I have been investing with Kendra, she help me and my family and some of my friends who actually invest with her, dear try and invest with her, she is the best when it comes to Bitcoin mining and forex trading.
about nicehash: i've been mining with my only RTX 2060 (i have just one) and got no problems at all, in fact, i belive the founders skills in breaking down things makes nicehash pretty hard to be stolen from third parties, and yeah, i know, the founder can tell a lie and say like "we got stolen" but, if he will do this in the future, why not do when they got actually stolen? why refund the users with his own money? second chances is out there for every one, and if you can get wrong about something and get a second chance, why not give it to another person?
lol i made so much with mining currently swimming in gamers tears
Linus handled this one really well. Nice to see.
Mining when it makes sense to mine is a point that a lot of people missed. Heat is heat and if you are running an electric heater you could just easily be using that power to run a pc and heat a room. In the colder seasons I heat my entire bedroom solely from running folding@home, having my computer doing work 24/7 allows to me to turn off heat entirely to that room. That is a net gain as now that electricity is doing something other than just create heat. Obviously in the summertime when its hot and im now focused on cooling my place I don't run folds because it would be a waste of power at that point.
i have been watching Linus for a 5years or so now, i build gaming rigs for my own use and have found their channel entertaining, informative and insightful.
their channel seem genuine to me and of course they need the sponsor vids to pay the bills.
lastly the Nicehash vid they did was so useful for me as its somthing i am looking into as my new GPU cost £998 and of course i did futher research into this.
Linus tech tips are starter tips! do your reaserch into everything before doing it and the ppl there seem do the best they can with the info they have- They are still only ppl.
Thankyou for all the brill content you make for the new and old pc community!
I think the right answer would've definitely have been to leave a comment on the original video, or at least pin someone else's who properly addresses the things people were upset about. I watched and checked the comments/description of the video, no information telling your audience about the specifics like a founder being a repeat criminal as far as I could see. It would've had a better chance of reaching your audience that way
People that complains about environment impacts of crypto while ignoring that all the internet from indexed visible sites to the most deepest unknown website in the web are a f** huge impact to the environment hands down.
GPU manufacturers should create different GPUs for mining and for gaming
get that you're moving past this, but I can't help but feel you skimmed past the creator of nicehash for being convicted of creating malware that steals personal info and not being detected by anti-virus. also skimmed past where the same guy created a hacker forum where he sold it. and the owner just tried to patch over it something like "guys it's a big misunderstanding"
I still think you did the big brain move and stopped working with them, but I feel you could've actually went into more depth about what he did, without watching the coffeezilla video, you kinda just have to take linus' word for it.
Why should I trust a software, when the guy behind it has been caught for creating malware? even if the guy is creating good software, you can't help but not trust someone once you hear their skeletons in the closet.
You can use that argument for any large scale scammy business. "There are not a lot of people who are not that founder"
5-6 years of watching LTT from the time he was at NCIX and now i just think Linus has forgotten the values which made LTT so damn dependable. Its his life, he can believe in anything that he wants, and as audiance I think we can now just categorize him as another scam promoting channel as well. Works both ways. Thanks for the years of service LTT. I'll miss it.
Where's the part where the CEO is a convicted Cyber Criminal with a history of Stealing personal information?
Still defending that cyber criminal 🤦🏻♂️
Thank you Linus for coming forward and putting it all out there.
Thank you @coffeezilla for doing the work and keepin' it real: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZz-kKED2vI
I posted an iteration of this comment on a very popular youtuber who was very critical of your prior "sponsored" endorsement of Nicehash, and I would be curious what your response is as well.
I have actually been using nicehash quick miner for the past few months, and I have been very happy with it. I am curious what your thoughts on it are? It's advertised as being open source, digitally signed, and guaranteed 100% free of malware. As a poor, broke, country ass soldier, making an extra 100$/mo (on top of my 9 to 5) off my gaming PC, has been a welcome addition of passive income. It's not much, but every bit (or byte as the case may be) helps. I would like to keep using it, but I don't want to put my finical security at risk.
I do have to say, a "founder" is a fairly vague description of the progenitor of Nicehash, and his actual current role in the company. Is he still involved, and if so, what role does he play (e.g. CEO)? That being said, I believe in redemption, and hope the founder has turned a new page. I love their (NiceHash's) product, and would like to keep using it. I would appreciate any feedback on this. Especially since I endorsed them on my own youtube channel, I don't want to mislead other people.
I personally don't think you all did anything wrong by endorsing Nicehash. I absolutely love the service, and posted a video on why. Specifically their quickminer. But if there is some information I am not aware of, that might put myself, or anyone who is watching my videos at risk, I would like to know about that, and would appreciate any feed back you all might have.
People who pay inclusive utilities are just giving their money away because inclusive means the landlord gauges the rates for "worst case scenario"… which means you are paying for hydro through your rent that you aren't even using…
I don't get where gamers are complaining about mining… it is not as though they are all rushing out to spend $10 000 on a new computer just to be able to play the latest game…
Also I don't get why they aren't using GPU for mining either, especially when crypto was created BY gamers FOR gamers… While your GPU might be a bit more expensive, it pays for itself in 3 months… so does it really matter if it costs a bit more? It will afford you to buy more better GPU….
Don't go sunset…
Put ALL miner platforms in the light and see what shadows they cast, or even tokens.. like Dogecoin…
Seems like Linus has lot of investment in CryptoCurrency. That's why this charade of supporting individual miners and gamers. Since individual miners can't do much, they will look towards more hardware which leads to graphic cards shortage. Linus knows all this but pretends to be a gaming and climate lover because he has lot of investment in crypto and he himself mines it.
Your sponsor NICEHASH -The Mariposa Botnet ' Mastermind' was jailed in slovenia for stealing people's money… hahaha This goes way deeper than the apology here.
Supply and demand stupid, DO YOU GET IT OR NOT? If not go back to school
