Most Ethereum ASICs CANNOT Mine ETC!!!!

Ethereum Ethereum Classic ASICs
In this video I go over some ETC algo changes that actually made most of the current ASICs currently on Ethereum not able To swap over to ETC once Ethereum move over to POS.

Hey rabid don't forget if I made and sold asic miners and I made firmware to mine etc I Would NOT release it,I would keep it for myself and buy back old asic's on the cheap and reap all the rewards. Just like devs not releasing there miners (lhr unlocks) to the public and using them and low demand lhr cards for profit.

    It doesn't matter. At all.
    I´ll tell you why.
Because if there is price discovery on ETC, all ASICS builders will begin deploying their new models on ETC, with a brutal advantage: ASICs will be more efficient and will give you more money and will sell them knowing that ETC will always hold as a PoW algo, so garanteeing the profit through long periods as opposed to the risk ETH gave for ASICS investors (in going to PoS eventually)

Moreover, there are, at least 700TH of hashrate directly related to GPUS on ETH right now (if not more). There is NOWAY ETC can go profitable for everyone. Only those on solar panels will be able to survive the flood. and probably only people in the 4cnt per kWh or lower will have an option. IN Europe, with 20cnt+ per kWh it will be IMPOSSIBLE to survive. This is a fact.

And if by chance, ETC skyrocketed in price, this will attract more inverstors not only on the GPU side but on the ASICS side So the problem that we are suffering with ETH and increasing in difficulty will likely happen again with ETC . And that is not even considering some kind of firmware update to the existing ASICs so that they can mine the future ETC algo.

And that's not even considering that people have actually stopped buying gpus, to the point that prices are dropping fast and shelves are full of them. If after ETH there is somekind of brutal skyrocket on some mineable algo (one that could give you money no matter how much gpus or ASICs could enter) that would only encourage more people to enter making the problem worse.

in any case, this changes absolutely nothing and this is just the end of mining as a whole that noone wants to talk about but every body knows.

Great video, puts a different perspective on things. Etc will be overrun by jasminers, iPollo's and who knows what other efficient asics are in development. There is no way GPU's will compete there.
Everything else however, looking better. At this point I really just want the merge to happen asap. Reading up on progress though, with my very limited understanding, there are way too much issues to overcome still. Would not be surprised if it takes another year or simply fails altogether.

PoS on ETH 2.0 is not coming this year anyways ! So calm down and mine happy at least till mid 2023..ETC is garbage, forgotten project, who wants that coin?! It may boost in price when ETH is done but not too much maybe $100 max !! ETH will face huge price down time during that shady merge !!!!

Great 👍 awesome content Rabid Mining, I actually finally understand what support was talking about not doing development for the ETC algorithm! did not realize ETC is no longer using ETHash! crazy .. we are so use to ETH and ETC using ETHash from back in the day, we totally overlook ETC is using a different algorithm lol damm name is so close ETHash and ETCHash lol

lol as it should be. ETH asics should not exist at all and the only reason they do is because asic manufacturers bribed ETH devs to keep the algo asic friendly. as all miners know, eth devs are fckin criminals interested only in profit for themselves at the expense of non-whales and miners. prob a good idea to dump all your eth prior to the merge lol I sure have been. the merge prob gunna be a sht-show, just wait until the hacks begin and the chain has blackouts like Solana. as long as the devs and whales can get their staking apy its all good apparently

if etc becomes too centralized, either through hashpower rental or asics, they will fork off again. ProgPoW anyone?
The etc devs cant be so dumb as to let their coin get 51%'d again.

I've got a question i have 2 GPU's 3080 EVGA ultra ft3w and another 3080 FE, i'd like to GPU mine. What would be t he best thing to mine today and where to start? I tried doing ETH but it required like a month+ of mining to get .1 ETH before i could even collect. If anyone has any news for me that'd be amazing

Does that mean that sub-art products such as Apollo and Jasminer cannot mine etc after pos?

If you check on reddit are a lot of custom firmwares already done for that ASICS ho will not have support from manufacturers, so is a mute point unfortunately.

but if theese asics technically can mine etc, there is 100% gonna be people developing their own sketchy firmware that can mine ETC.
