Ellipal Titan – the Most Secure Cold Storage Crypto Wallet?
The Ellipal Titan Cold Wallet is an air-gapped, anti-tamper, anti-disassembly hardware wallet designed to keep your crypto asset private keys safe and secure. When combined with the Mnemonic Metal phrase backup device, this is hands-down one of the most secure crypto storage solutions on the market.
In this video, I unbox and set up the Ellipal Titan and Mnemonic Metal, perform a firmware update, and then also demonstrate how to send and receive crypto assets using the Ellipal Titan to sign and authorize the transaction.

What were the fees transferring out?
What is not mentioned in the directions is you MUST remember the address type and any passphrase. If not the mnemonics mean nothing and everything will be lost. The support is poor. The passphrase may be obvious to a newbie, the address type, not so much. I learned the hard way.
This seems simpler than Nano Ledger X, but not easy to operate. Still waiting something much simpler than this.
Ellipal trading and exchange fees are very high, buyer beware
How to set up two new Ellipals to the same phone would be good to know. And clone them also would be handy.
What about having 2 ellipads? One for the majority of your coins and the second for everyday use. Couldn't you just theoretically transfer coins from one too another as needed? Can anyone give me some advice about this. Looking to buy a second cold storage and this method seems to be a logically and great way to do things
I love the idea of crypto currency, but I feel we are not yet at a point of simplicity. I am having such a hard time understanding the way these cold wallets work and how it is possible to retrieve the keys afterwards.
Hhhmmm updating via SD card no one has ever tried to attack a device via SD card or usb keys . I can't see how this is anymore secure than the other hardware wallets which are regularly audited and never been hacked. The "most secure" is nothing more than a marketing gimmic and possibly misleading to consumers ,and therefore false advertising . a loses from hardware wallets are usually phishing attacks and scams .
Wait so it's just a token machine? My bank gives me a simple one for free.
I'm new to crypto trading what's the best way to get started with trade cos I've been making my personal research for a while now, i don't know how to trade on cryptocurrency
what if my ellipal gets destroyed and the company goes out of business? any way to recover the coins?
really appreciate the vid. It's unfortunately it requires power since everything with an internal battery will eventually die if you don't routinely charge it. You almost have to have a second device in case the 1st device's battery fails. I had a Bitfi H/W wallet sitting in my drawer for a couple years, forgot to charge it and it just failed to charge. Luckily it was empty. If your device fails and they go out of business and you don't have a second device, you're screwed.
Hi, I bought a Ellipal Titan but don't know how to transfer my NFT that I purchased in Opensea to there. Can you show me?
Yeah but how do u dnload it?? From their site on to laptop? Would that expose it to viruses or no?
How do you interact with DeFi Apps using the Ellipal ? I've checked MetaMask and unfortunately the only hardware devices they seem to support are Ledger Nano and Trezor. Am I missing something here ?
I have the ellipal titan it works well and the security of the device is solid. As mentioned in video battery life isn't the best. But it works well and glad I have it
Hi Chris thanks for the review of this wallet, I have two questions for you regarding this product: first can it be paired with "Daedalus", and second how long did it take for you to receive the device? I am debating between Leger Nano X and the Ellipal where I like the Ellipal titan more.
I bought this wallet and the software won't update. Tried different computers and sd cards 20 plus times WTF
Is it possible to generate 24 word phrase with the titan? Or it only does 12? And if it only does 12, can you manually generate a 24 and use that? Thanks
Are they made in China?
Thank you ๐ great job and very clear explaining , step by step easy for me to follow, again THANKS ๐๐
how do u update?
Hmmm, air-gapped. Proceeds to plug sd card into the computer and then into the device.
Does is have monero?
I'd like to start an only BTC online shop. Would this be all i need to get paid for the products i ship? Thx in advance.
So I take it that the difference between gold and silver is the color…..is that correct?……also how do I use SIM card with only a phone and iPad?…..is the SIM card necessary ?…..thank you
Very good Video, great ๐๐Thank You very much
Hi, how big is the storage memory for Ellipal Titan?
How do you download that file to the chip
Can you use this device to scan/read the QR Codes on the paper receipts generated when you buy Bitcoin through a Bitcoin ATM? (thus transferring the BTC, you bought at the ATM, to your hardware wallet).
