— Today, we’re checking out a relatively new visual website builder called “Editor X”. What’s really awesome about this new tool, is that it allows you to create both flexbox AND grid layouts, without touching any code, and it’s all responsive. So, in this video, I’m going to show you how to build a responsive layout for a fictional Photography business while demonstrating a bunch of Editor X’s awesome features!
Check out:
for more information about the platform and its capabilities.
for the functionality of the layouting tools (to see how else you can use and customize Editor X’s layouting tools, like Layouter and Repeater).
Note: While this is a sponsored video, I don’t ever take on sponsorships from products I don’t believe in. Editor X is certainly one of the most impressive site builders I’ve checked out. 🙂
Let’s get started!

so you are not able to publish to your OWN existing website?

Innovation is moving to new dimensions, editor x from wix, then mobi rise with his high standard template, is another beast of a site builder. The industry is boiling

Hi, very educative video. How do i redesign my existing Wix site in EDITOR X. As i like the multiple headers' feature in EDITOR X for different pages?
Do you need to have six as your hosting site to use and publish this?
Is this free?
Editor X is really cool! Lots of neat features! However, I will say that I think Webflow is currently the best visual development tool out there.
Can I make a website template with this? So I can sell it?
I was getting frustrated with wordpress. This is more way more intuitive. Its drag and click. I am one day in with Editor , i like it so much that i came here just to wrtie down that comment.
How is the code that it generates?
Webflow generates good code.
I just love the way you teach… good luck with your experiments! Cheers mate!
Time to switch to backend
But is there a way to export my code so I can may be host my host on GitHub ?
In a year will be even more advanced than webflow this is just a new tool.
Wix is not the crappy thing that used to be, it's actually now a powerful development tool with EditorX and Corvid (open programming platform) that uses ReactJS and NodeJS. Thanks for the video loving your channel and your amazing courses in Scrimba!
What I know about web-site building you can write on a match head but I have battled away with this all afternoon. Steep learning curve but I like it.
Can we export to React using this editor?
Hey, what if my horizontal layouter doesn't resize when I change page resolution? I think I tried all possible options but its still going outside the canvas and I cant even resize it manually. Any thoughts?
Can I build the site on my account and then transfer it to a client's account when it's done?
My first impressions were that at first this functionality of dragging and moving freely, may seem very good. But, apparently, the work of responsiveness is doubled. Not to mention that there is still no felixable CMS. For now, webflow still has a lot of advantage … But, let's see for how long.
