How is the stock market not a greater fool investment though? Stocks don’t pay dividends or entitle you to a claim on the underlying assets of the companies. All you can do with them is sell them on the secondary market to another “investor.”

So long as you stay short term in crypto. Sell off all profits them keep original investment you are willing to lose. Just like gambling do not gamble with more than willing to lose. Important to remember with crypto you own nothing. No physical product like gold stocks or any other real investment.

With all due respect, most average folks were saying the exact same thing about Bitcoin back in 2013-15 and look at where it is today! So, I will take this advise with a grain of salt; at least concerning crypto investments.

If institutional investors are starting to get and trust bitcoin a lot more than its not a good example of greater fools theory. Bitcoin is the longest living crypto asset so far and has survived through bubbles already.

Crypto is the future whether y’all like it or not. We can accelerate the time to retire by investing in projects with utility. Right keep crypto is 10% of my total port. By the end of 2022 it could very well be 20-25%. Research the hell out of projects you want to invest in. DO NOT FOMO buy

I guess I was a fool for doing this but worked out. Bought 10k worth of Bitcoin, 2 days later it was up $700 and I sold it all. No interest in long term investing in something that volatile.

I've personally accumulated just as much crypto as I have with index funds in my retirement accounts due to the former's rally. It's definitely helped me reach my first 100K net worth. While my allocation is a bit on the risky side, it's something I'm willing to lose and I still have my index funds growing slowly.

Bitcoin is a better asset than index funds especially because inflation is 6.2% now. Index funds at best will preserve your wealth, but more likely you are losing purchasing power. Also, you are holding stock in sketchy corporations with unethical business practices to benefit yourself. Bitcoin is a pure savings account and you can hold it without compromising your ethics and morals

Ahman and Christina retired by 40, live off the market, have multiple investment properties overseas, yet people come on here telling them they need to do more research into crypto because they don’t know what they are talking about. The internet is entertaining to say the least.

What do Bitcoin holders think about the possibility that the govt could (and seems to really want to) ban it? That’s literally the only thing stopping me from investing in it.

Haven’t used it and maintenance and taxes going up every year not to mention a huge assessment a couple years ago. How can I get rid if it without having to pay anymore?

I'm 42 and my ultimate financial goal would be $4million in savings and a monthly passive income of $15,000, I've got about $230k to put in the market and l'd love to know how I could make this goal happen by the time I turn 50.

Strongly agree with the messaging, but respectfully disagree that BTC or ETH fall into this category. There are plenty of greater fool investments to avoid, but not ALL cryptocurrencies fall into this group.
