I just bought a rode videomic go for my canon 700d and i get a lot of noise even if i manually lower the gain. I know it was not up to the microphone because i plug it in my zoom h-1 and there was no noise.. What settings did you use for this video? Thanks in advance 🙂

Does the Canon 700D with a kit lens make noise when shooting video on manual focus?
I’ll be making guitar videos so i won’t be moving as much so i thought i would buy canon 700d and use manual focus because i heard autofocus of this camera isn’t good.But when used as manual focus,does the camera make sound? even a bit? i will be using kit lens 18-55mm IS II and 55-250mm IS II Lens
Know this camera is old now. But thinking about buying it to make movies out door/fishing. What do you think ? Thanks

Stop playing music over test video. I would like to make sure if I don't hear the cameras lens motor trying to find focus. That's a big factor on me buying the camera.

Do you happen to remember what frame rate you were rolling with at 5:35? I'm looking to get this camera, and am only asking because the branches had that bit of jitter when panning. I'm not sure if that was a setting thing, or from youtube?
Do you have any problems with the mic when you first got it?
I couldn't get my mic to work, it works on my cellphone so that lets me know that the mic isn't the issue, and my camera works with another mic that uses a battery but idk why the rode mic that came with the camera isn't producing any sound for me… Let me know if you have any issues like it, and how did you figure it out.
