Remember the arbitrage on an ETF…even a futures one. Should keep the price of btc and the etf close.

Those who choose option 2 are degenerate gamblers and not being honest with themselves. Option 2 is the same as option, in truth, but with 90% less gains from the top, as opposed to 50% less gains from the top. And if they're really honest, they wouldn't take $100k profit either, they would simply hold the bag until it went back to 1 million, because they would still believe it'd go back up and beyond. Timing the taking of profit is hard. Admit that, and one can be easier on themselves for being sensible and taking reasonable profits as positions expand and retract.
