Keep the 80% rule especially if via ATX power on the minis. You don’t want to blow a fuse as then you need to void the warranty and open the device. Lesson learned here.

Crypto currency/mining is insane. The whole meme is ridiculous and a waste of the world's time. All this nonsense for money. Truly the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. There is no good reason on God's green earth to put yourself into a CRYPT in order to get the things you need in life. I was in Ripple XRP for a very short time – I think maybe 2 days. Was blown away to get a literal overnight message ffrom God Himself telling me to GET OUT of it. I did and will never again waste my time on cryptos. Why help build the beast system? Thanks for the video though. Wanted to know about what I heard about this mining stuff burning up electricity. Stupid, wasteful, evil.

Do you have a link to a safe PDU that's in stock? The one in the description is discontinued. Thank you and love the content!

OK, Vosk basically what they do in the U.S. is to wire both the black and the white cables, directly into the breaker. Each wire then carrys 110V. 110V x 2 = 220V. If your using a 30 amp breaker you get 6,600 Watts available at the wall (30 x 220 = 6,600). If using a 20 amp breaker you get 4,400 Watts (20 x 220 = 4,400.). If you stay within recommended usage of 80% you get 5,280 Watts and 3,520 Watts respectively. So for a lot of the big miners you can only run one of them on a single 220V circuit. If you have a ton of Mini-DOGEs however, you can run about 17 of them on one 220V 30 amp circuit (conservatively.).

Why not just use 220V 20a plugs? 30 amp seems like overkill and takes so much more space..

Awesome channel, Vosk. I ordered the Tripp Lite PDU with 4 individually isolated C19 outlets with 12A breakers. Model PDU-1230. How confident are you that these PDUs can protect the miners from surges like lightning strikes? You said in the video that they offer surge protection.

So in theory, if I can get a personal loan for 10k, buy an ant miner, and make 25-30 a day from it after electricity, I should be able to pay off the loan within a year, then everythign after that will be profit minus electricity and any crypto fees paid. Seems like a no brainer.

So if I'm understanding it correctly, I would just need that Tripp PDU and a power cable on an 220 outlet, no additional PSUs required like if you were to GPU mine, correct?

How much would an electrician charge roughly for this? Is it under 10k? Or is it simple and like under 1k? Still learning. I know prices vary state to state and other factors just looking for very rough pricing. Just would hate to spend 35k on a rig and then need to spend another 10k just to plug it in.
